Come and see "In From The Cold"
"In From The Cold", an exhibition of eighty-one works from member artists of the Detroit Society of Women Painters & Sculptors is open now through March 7 at the Alfred Berkowitz Gallery in Dearborn, Michigan. A wide spectrum of media and styles are represented here. I am thrilled that one of my paintings, "Daydreamer" not only was juried in but was awarded first place. There is a lot to see in this spacious and lovely gallery. The Berkowitz is located on the University of Michigan's Dearborn campus and gallery hours are 9:00 - 5:00, Monday though Friday.
The DSWPS, founded in 1093, may be one of the oldest continuing operating organizations of its kind in the United States. Our current membership of approximately 150 members is drawn from all over southeastern Michigan. All area women, who are serious visual artists, are invited to consider joining.
